“Reverse Orientation” for Faith Formation
6:30 – 8:00 PM
Due to the current reality, the end of the year picnic will not be held this year. With that said, we still need to close out this year by getting all the materials back and while doing this, it allows us an opportunity to say goodbye and congratulate you for making this a wonderful year at SAS. Therefore we are having a non contact drop off for assignments, tests, books, and to turn in registrations for next year. We will meet outside the St. Anthony Center in the east parking lot if it’s nice, otherwise we will be in the gym practicing Social Distancing. Ginny and Scott will be available to answer questions, and out of respect for you, we will be wearing our masks and keeping our distance. See you there!

NO IN-HOUSE FAITH FORMATION CLASSES/CONFIRMATION SESSIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Hello parents: I hope you are all safe and well. This is a crazy time, but Jesus has not left us….we are being held in His right hand. God is good.
I will make it my practice to send you out a lesson plan for your child to do every Wednesday that they would normally have class. That way we can stay on track until the end of the year and you have some support to homeschool your child. If there is no lesson plan for your grade during one week don’t worry – we do other things here some weeks, like take church tours, or watch movies about the subject at hand. On those weeks I will not send you out a lesson plan and you can just do the book work with them.
As I said last time, everyone is in a different situation, and I know you will do what you can with these lessons as you can do them, as your circumstances permit. I am praying for you and your children during this time of flux. We are going to make this work in our country and in our neighborhoods. Try not to watch too much TV – it makes you nuts. Instead, reach out to those around you and watch for others who are also reaching out to you. There is a lot of good fellowship happening long distance right now, and people who are normally forgotten (the elderly and lonely) are now getting some special attention through the good works of our neighbors. God bless them – and God bless you as we are pioneers in this new way of making things work at a distance. Blessings, ginny
